Zugura Rakhmatullina presented in Stockholm Bashkiria’s experience at hosting SCO and BRICS Summits

 

UFA, 12 February 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The State Duma deputy Zugura Rakhmatullina in Stockholm shared with cultural and educational experience of the multinational Bashkortostan, which last summer hosted the SCO and BRICS Summits, and in 2020 will be a venue of the World Folkloriad 2020. Russian parliamentarians in the framework of the Nordic Council "Cooperation in the North of Europe" discussed issues of cooperation in the field of health and social well-being with members of the Swedish Parliament.

The Russian delegation was represented by the deputy of Bashkortostan, the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee for Culture Zugura Rakhmatullina and deputies of legislative assemblies of North-West of Russia.

The main topics of conversation in parliament were the issues of demography, migration policy, aimed at linguistic, social and religious-cultural adaptation of migrants arriving in northern countries from different social and cultural environment, problems of healthy lifestyle cultivation.

At a meeting with Russian deputies the Ambassador of Russia to Sweden Victor Tatarintcev also noted the importance and constructive potential of the Russian parliament delegation in participating in work of international organizations in the conditions of quite complicated relations with its northern neighbours.
