Digital television station covering 550 thousand subscribers will be launched in Bashkiria

On Friday, February 12, in Sterlitamak region the largest digital broadcasting station in the region will start operating. This was reported by the State Committee RB for Information Technology. The facility is located in the village of Naumovka. Package of channels of the first multiplex will be available to residents of Sterlitamak and the same region, Salavat, Ishimbay, Sterlibashevo and Meleuz regions — a total of about 550 thousand people.
The signal is distributed with no monthly fees. It requires an appropriate TV with built-in digital decoder or set-top box with cost of 900-1200 rubles.
