UFA, 23 December 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. UMPO - Ufa Engine Industrial Association (part of "UEC" of Rostec State Corporation) and Ufa State Aviation Technical University (USATU) identified cooperation tasks for 2016 at an enlarged meeting. Introduction of project management and development of dual education system in order to prepare highly qualified engineers and skilled workers for the company will be the key ones, the press service of the company informs.
The participants noted the important role of the extra-mural faculty of USATU at UMPO, which applies the elements of the dual education and Aviation Technology Technopark — a proving ground, where the association and the university interact in implementation of research and development projects into production.
JSC "Ufa Engine Industrial Association" is the largest manufacturer of aircraft engines in Russia. The main activities are development, production, maintenance and repair of turbo-jet aircraft engines and gas-pumping units, manufacture and repair of helicopter units.
JSC "United Engine Building Corporation" (part of the Rostec state corporation) is an integrated structure, specialized in development, serial production and maintenance of engines for military and civil aviation, space programs and the Navy, as well as for oil and gas industry and energy sector. Proceeds of the holding in 2014 amounted to 199.9 billion rubles.
Rostec is the Russian state-owned corporation established in 2007 to promote development, production and export of high-tech industrial products for civil and military purposes. Rostec companies are located in the territory of 60 subjects of the Russian Federation and supply products to the markets of over 70 countries. Rostec revenues in 2014 amounted to 964.5 billion rubles. The total amount of tax deductions was 147.8 billion rubles.
