Leaders of Bashkortostan national parks took part in "UNESCO Biosphere Reserves" meeting

Sochi hosts the All-Russian conference "UNESCO Biosphere Reserves in Russia: Current State and Prospects of Development". More than 60 directors of national parks and reserves will discuss their plans for the development of Russian biosphere reserves.
Directors of the reserves "Bryansk Forest", "Chernye Zemli", the Caucasus, Volga-Kama, Lapland, Central Black Earth, Dagestan, Khakas, Komandor, Altai, Katun reserves; National Parks "Smolensk Lakes", "Ugra" and "Dauria" will present their reports on specially protected natural territories. Bashkortostan will be represented by Vladimir Kuznetsov, the director of the National Park "Bashkiria" and Mikhail Kosarev, the director of the "Shulgan-Tash" reserve.
Also the meeting will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Russia, the State Duma, the UNESCO Committee "Man and Biosphere", Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow Mining Institute, ecological centre "Reserves", the Association of Directors of State Nature Reserves and National Parks, specialists of nature conservation from the Republic of Kazakhstan, Abkhazia, WWF Russia.
