Bashkir State University will collaborate with University of South Africa


UFA, 7 December 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Bashkir State University will collaborate with the University of South Africa. The agreement was reached during a visit of the South African professor to Bashkir State University. The memorandum of agreement on academic cooperation and exchange of staff and students was signed by BSU Rector Nikolai Morozkin and Ajay Kumar Mishra. Both sides expressed hope for fruitful cooperation, possibly in the framework of the planned University of BRICS.

As the foreign guest marked, the University of South Africa became interested in Bashkir State University because of its known and relevant developments in the field of nanotechnology.

Within the framework of his visit to BSU Professor Ajay Kumar Mishra read two lectures for students and teachers on the topics: "Smart environmentally friendly materials  for waste water" and "Nanocomposites: environmentally friendly materials".

Reference. The University of South Africa is the largest university of the continent, where one third of all university students of South Africa (about 300 thousand from 130 countries) are studying. It maintains an active international student exchange work and joint research projects with universities in the UK, Belgium, Japan and other countries.
