UFA, 27 November 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/.
The activities of the Government of Bashkortostan "will not be limited only to the efforts of state agencies to provide specific public services, but will encourage economic entities to achieve the goals that are important to our society". This was told at a meeting with journalists by the Prime Minister of the Government RB Rustem Mardanov.
The head of the regional Cabinet identified resources to achieve the goals set out in the annual Address of the Head of Bashkortostan. They are provided in the state programs.
At the same time, according to Rustem Mardanov, a number of objectives of social and economic development requires active involvement of companies’ resources and efforts to be undertaken by the population of the republic. As an example, the Prime Minister named the need to increase the share of investment in gross regional product up to 25%.
The Head of Bashkortostan emphasized in his Address to the State Assembly RB the necessity for better demographic situation and increase in life expectancy.
"The Government Action Program provides for an increase in life expectancy to 75 years, and we need to get ahead of the national average. It is clear that this must be done due to better health care. But we know that only about 20-25% of the health and life expectancy depend on the quality of medical services. This is largely determined by the people’s lifestyle", said the Prime Minister.
In this regard, Rustem Mardanov sees the task of the government in "trying to encourage people to change their lifestyle, orient it for a longer period".
