UFA, 18 November 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/.
The Federation Council called on all countries of the world fighting against international terrorism to unify the legislation in this area, TASS reports.
"Necessary legislative instruments at international, national and regional levels to criminalize terrorism and any assistance to it should be taken to unify the interaction conditions of all anti-terrorist structures for prosecution and punishment of terrorists and their accomplices", it is stated in the address to foreign parliaments and parliamentary organizations, adopted on Wednesday, November 18, by the Russian senators.
The Federation Council also invited the countries to unite in their fight against terrorism. As an example the senators gave the anti-Hitler coalition. The senators noted that it was necessary "in the political sphere to eliminate double standards and dividing terrorists into "good" and "bad", to demonstrate the ability of the global community to overcome their differences in the face of a common threat".
