Military man from Bashkiria was a member of "Hizb ut-Tahrir" terrorist organization

A military man from Bashkortostan was a member of the international terrorist organization "Hizb ut-Tahrir". Yesterday he was sentenced by the Moscow district military court. It is reported by the press service of the FSB Directorate in the republic.
The investigation revealed that in 2014-2015, during the period of military service in the military unit in the village of Alkino-2 the accused was a participant of the international terrorist organization "Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami". Through the Internet, he carried out a correspondence with other members of this structure, stored and distributed the materials of extremist nature, carried out propaganda and abetted his colleagues to join the ranks of the terrorist organization.
The defendant admitted his guilt. The court sentenced him to five years in prison to be served in a penal colony.
