UFA, 6 November 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. A group of scientists from Bashkortostan were awarded the Russian Government Prize in the field of science and technology. The award was given for the development and industrial implementation of innovative, energy-saving technologies of high-octane motor gasoline production with improved environmental properties. The work supervisor was Gumer Telyashev, D.Sc. in engineering, Professor, chief process engineer at "Institute of Petroleum Refining and Petrochemistry of Bashkortostan Republic". The corresponding decree was signed by the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
125 applicants became award winners in 2015. Among them there were five academicians and a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 39 doctors and 28 candidates of sciences. Prizes were awarded for work in the field of energy, science, exploration and production of mineral resources, materials science, medicine, seed industry, shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, space and environment. The award amounts to 2 million rubles.
Among the authors of works there were representatives of 18 subjects of the Russian Federation, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and Bashkortostan, the Krasnodar Territory, the Belgorod, Volgograd, Vologda, Leningrad, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk and other Regions.
