Rehabilitation of Uralsib Bank will be held by Petersburg businessman Vladimir Kogan

The Deposit Insurance Agency has selected an investor for the financial recovery of the Uralsib Bank. It is the St. Petersburg businessman Vladimir Kogan.
As reported in the official press release of the Central Bank of Russia, the Deposit Insurance Agency will render the investor financial assistance through loans of the Bank of Russia in the amount sufficient for stable operation of the Bank.
The investor acquires 82% stake of the Bank. The Deposit Insurance Agency will grant the Bank two loans: 14 billion rubles for the period of 6 years and 67 billion rubles for 10 years. The latter amount will be directed for capitalization.
Thus, Uralsib Bank will continue its operation in the current mode fulfilling its commitments to customers.
