UFA, 5 November 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. Initiatives of Bashkir Public Chamber were supported at the final forum "Community", organized by the Public Chamber of Russia in Moscow. The proposals related to improvement of the NGOs activity scope.
The Chairman of the commission on legislation, protection of citizens' rights and freedom of speech of the Public Chamber of Bashkortostan, Dmitry Kazantsev made proposals at the section "Legal Regulation of the Third Sector", which was devoted to discussing the problems and search for solutions to amending the law on NGOs. He proposed to establish a service similar to Integrated Functional Centres at the Ministry of Justice to facilitate the registration of non-profit organizations.
"In Bashkortostan such centres work effectively. I consider it necessary to take this principle as a basis, and organize services for completing the registration forms at the Ministry of Justice. The Head of the Section, the Chairman of the Duma Committee on Labour, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs Olga Batalina supported this initiative", said Dmitry Kazantsev.
The second proposal related to receiving extracts from Uniform State Register of Legal Entities. The activists strive for receiving this service in hard copy free of charge and making grantors accept it electronically.
Various sections of the forum were attended by the Chairman of the Public Chamber of Bashkortostan Olga Panchihina, Head of the Office of the Public Chamber RB Ildar Bikbaev and other representatives of the republic.
The final forum "Community" was held in Moscow on November 3-4. In two days more than 5,000 participants discussed key issues of the nonprofit sector development, civic engagement support, volunteerism. The awarding ceremony of the finalists of the forum was held, where the Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered a speech.
