Eurasian Humanist Forum in Ufa will become a platform for human values discussion - Salavat Sagitov


UFA, 27 October 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. From December 9 to 12, Ufa will host the Eurasian Humanist Forum. The conference will bring together about 2,000 participants from regions of Russia and countries of the SCO — Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Tajikistan. As part of the forum a number of major events, united by a common theme, including Akmullinskie Chteniya, Aitovskie Chteniya, Gumilevsky Chteniya, discussion clubs, Universal Exhibition "50 PLUS. All Advantages of Adulthood ", the Second International Festival of National and Ethnic Films "Silver Akbuzat" and other events will be held in the capital.

"We set a motto of the forum: humanism — above all, is respect for a human being and human values that should be maintained and developed. So these topics will be raised at this forum,” said the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Salavat Sagitov.

The forum aims at developing international cooperation in the sphere of science, education and culture, promoting the ideas of enlightenment in the context of the Eurasian space, implementing joint research programs and projects in the humanitarian sphere, active involving students and young scientists in the study of history, education and traditions of enlightenment of Eurasia, SCO countries, further developing joint international educational programs.

2015 was declared the Year of Combating Cardiovascular Disease – so this area will be a key one at the Humanist Forum. The International Conference "Current Prevention, Treatment and Rehabilitation of Patients with Cardiovascular Disease" will bring together experts from China, Kazakhstan, Russia and Jordan.

A big cultural event will be held during the forum — the International Festival of National and Ethnic Films "Silver Akbuzat", which will be carried out for the second time.
