UFA, 23 October 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. In Bashkortostan Chinese investors were offered a site for placing an industrial park in Sterlitamak region covering 211 hectares. The promising area has a developed transport and engineering infrastructure. The Development Corporation of Bashkortostan also offered investors three industrial parks to accommodate industrial and other objects: "HimTerra", "Construction Materials of Bashkortostan", "Ufimsky" in the region.
On October 23, in Ufa, at one of the discussion panels of the First R2R Forum of Small Business of the SCO and BRICS Member-States a presentation of investment projects of participants took place. The investment potential of Bashkortostan was presented by the CEO of Development Corporation of the Republic Artem Kireev.
"The Republic of Bashkortostan with a population of 4.1 million people ranks seventh on this indicator among the regions of Russia. The gross regional product amounts to 1 343,9 billion rubles. Our republic is a market leader in the Russian petrochemical industry in terms of primary oil refining, production of soda ash, automotive and diesel fuel, synthetic rubber. Bashkiria ranks the first in production of several types of vehicles and industrial products. The area of farmland in the region is 7.1 million hectares; it is 3% land of Russia. The republic has a high level of scientific and technological potential and developed financial infrastructure. In addition, the capital of Bashkortostan took the second place in the Forbes ranking "30 Best Cities for Business" ", said Artem Kireev.
The First R2R Forum continues. At present there is a closing plenary meeting, and then participants will visit enterprises of Bashkortostan. In the evening, they will see the International Championship of Riders of the SCO and BRICS countries.
As Bashinform News Agency reported from October 21 to 23, in Ufa the First R2R Small Business Forum of the SCO and BRICS Member-States is held. Yesterday a plenary session was conducted, four business agreements were signed, discussion panels were held.
