UFA, 2 October 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/.
By 2025, the farms of Bashkiria could increase grain production to four million tons. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of Bashkortostan Nikolay Kovalenko at a press conference organized by the "Interfax-Volga" agency in Ufa on October 2.

Bioclimatic potential of our republic allows producing an average of about 4-4,2 million tons of grain. We put this task in our strategy, such task is set and in regions too", said the head of the department.
According to him, a number of activities should be performed for this task realization. Among them there is an increase in fertilizers volume introduced into the soil, carrying out technical and technological modernization of agricultural machinery, constant application of high-yielding area-specific crops, clear specialization per climatic zones, as well as an increase in total grain volume of winter crops and corn.
