On Friday, October 2, HC Salavat Yulaev (Ufa) for the first time in the season will play a Western foreign match in the Kontinental Hockey League. In Bratislava the Ufa team will meet with HC Slovan.
At the moment Salavat Yulaev takes the last place in the Chernyshev division — 16 points.
Slovan is not far away from the Ufa club — in the Bobrov division it is next-to-last with 19 points (it held by one game more).
The five-time Russian champion and World Championship silver medalist 2002, former forward of clubs Lokomotiv (Torpedo), Salavat Yulaev, Tractor, Severstal and the national team of Russia Vladimir Antipov gave his forecast for today's match: "The teams between themselves often play a draw in regular time, but in this match, I think, the Ufa team will win. Their team list is stronger than the Slovan has."
The match kicks-off at 22.30 Ufa time (20:30 MSK).
