Suspect in murder of 11-year-old Violetta Tokarchuk was arrested in Ufa

In Ufa a suspect in the brutal murder of 11-year-old Violetta Tokarchuk was arrested. This is reported by the official website of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Bashkortostan. A 36-year-old resident of the city of Ufa, previously convicted of rape, was arrested by detectives across the street from the crime scene. He is suspected of committing a crime under paragraph "b" of the second part of Article 105 of the Criminal Code (murder of infant).
Reportedly, investigators and forensics of the Investigation Directorate of the Investigative Committee RF in the Republic of Bashkortostan held a complex and painstaking work to establish the identity of the suspect. During the meticulous inspection of the scene and the inspection of the body they seized a large number of items. Forensic experts carried out research and analysis of the seized items with the state-of-the-art technology and modern forensic equipment. As a result, the involvement of the suspect in the crime was established. The criminal investigation continues to gather material for imposing a pre-trial restraint.
Recall that on September 21 the 11-year-old pupil of the Lyceum No. 96 went to school early in the morning and was gone. When her mother came to meet the child she learned that the girl had not been at school, and in the evening near the school the girl’s body was found with signs of violent death.
