Bashkir art crafts "Agidel" presented their products in "Novy Manezh" in Moscow

Bashkir art crafts "Agidel" presented their products at the exhibition "Folk Arts and Crafts: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow" in Moscow.
The Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture Liliya Gumerova took part in the opening of the art exhibition-retrospective in the "Novy Manezh" and delivered a greeting on behalf of Valentina Matvienko.
The large-scale exhibition project features works from museums and funds of world famous crafts, as well as from the collection of the Association "National Art Crafts of Russia" made over the past quarter century. Thousands of folk culture masterpieces of 82 crafts from 40 regions are on display.
For the first time visitors of the exhibition are able to see unique works: a copy of the St. Isaac's Cathedral in St. Petersburg, works by Krasnoselsk jewelers; Zlatoust bladed weapons collection; collection of decorated weapons by Moscow master Mishakov; Zhostovo trays; collection of animalistic sculptures of Kungur master-stonecutter; a rare piece by Uelen bone carvers — artistic engraving on whalebone with traditional ornament of the peoples of the North.
