The "Shulgan-Tash" Reserve is visited by more than thousands of tourists from across the country at the weekend. About the peculiarities of the natural reserve the Bashinform News Agency reporter was told during the environmental media tour held in Burzyan region in September 15-16.
"At the days off more than thousands of tourists from all over Russia come at the reserve. They are interested in Kapova Cave tours and hikes in the reserve, White river rafting, Burzyan bee honey, Bashkir cuisine and souvenirs. The ancient folk craft — wild-hive beekeeping is preserved in the reserve. Wild-hive honey attracts tourists with its unique healing power," said an employee of a souvenir shop Gulziya.
The environmental tour was organized by the Union of Journalists RB with the support of the State Duma deputy Marsel Yusupov and Bashkir poultry complex "Indyushkin". It was attended by over 20 representatives of republican and local media.
