Bashkiria universities improved their positions in the universities rating for enrollment scores

 

UFA, 7 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Bashkiria universities improved their position in the ranking of universities for enrollment scores. The results of monitoring the quality of state financed enrollment in the Russian universities in 2015 were presented by the RIA Novosti Agency in cooperation with the National Research University "Higher School of Economics" and the Ministry of Education and Science.

The average passing score received by students enrolled in state financed places served as the rating criteria.

Bashkir State Medical University (BSMU) occupies the highest position among the universities of Bashkortostan. BSMU took the 46th place in the overall rating and 19th in the rating of medical schools. The average Unified State Exam score of the first-year students of Medical University is 75.3 points, higher than it was in 2014 (73.3).

Ufa State Petroleum Technological University ranks 18th among 128 technical universities and the 73rd in the overall rating. The average Unified State Exam score is 72.9, in 2014 — 72.2.

Ufa State Aviation Technical University occupies the 50th place in the rating of technical universities, taking only the 186th place in the overall rating. The average score of students enrolled to free education is 64.2, in 2014 it was 61.8.

Bashkir State University takes the 38th place among classical universities and 162nd — in the overall rating. The average score was 65.4, in 2014 — 61.4.

Bashkir State Pedagogical University named after M.Akmulla (BSPU) is on the 20th place among pedagogical universities, and the 180th in the overall list. The BSPU average score was 64.4, in 2014 — 63.6.

Bashkir State Agrarian University (BSAU) is in the 13th place among the universities of its profile. However, BSAU is only the 305th in the general rating. It is enough to score an average of 54.8 points to enter the university this year, in 2014 — 51.3.

The top 20 included only the universities of the two capitals — Moscow and St. Petersburg. In the overall rating the leader is Moscow State Institute for International Relations (1st place, 94.7 points), Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (2nd place, 93.8 points), the National Research University "Higher School of Economics" (3rd place, 91.5) . Next St. Petersburg State University and Moscow State University come with 88.1 and 87.1 points respectively.
