UFA, 4 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Sergey Zakharov/. The Russian Franchising Association (RAF) will be a co-organizer of the First Forum "Small Regional Business of the SCO and BRICS Member-States" (R2R), which will be held in Ufa on October 22-23.

Offers made by RAF were taken into account at arranging the business program of the forum. Financial and economic capacity and infrastructure to create and maintain a business were allocated into independent panel discussions. Also the topics of retail trade and FMSG were added in the business program.

In addition, at the initiative of the RAF it was decided to expand the circle of participants of the forum, inviting to the event not only small, but also medium-sized businesses.

"Small Business Forum of the SCO and BRICS Member-States can be a good starting point for many Russian brands with a view to their entry into the global market as a whole and one of the largest markets of South-East Asia and South America in particular. Franchising is now one of the most effective instruments of non-energy exports in the world", said the executive director of the Russian Franchising Association Yuriy Mihailichenko.

The First Forum "Small Regional Business of the SCO and BRICS Member-States" (R2R) will be held in Ufa on October 22-23, 2015. It will be the first operational integration platform of economic cooperation between business structures, business and regional authorities of the SCO and BRICS participating countries. The event is held under the chairmanship of Russia in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in 2014-2015, and the union of the BRICS in 2015 and is included in the action plan of Russia's presidency in the SCO in 2014-2015, approved by the President of the Russian Federation.

The Russian Franchising Association was established in 1997 as a non-profit organization to support and protect the interests of its members and to create a more favourable legal and economic environment for the spread of franchising in Russia. RAF is a full member of the World Franchise Council — WFC, which unites 42 countries, including the BRICS countries.
