Music from "The Barber of Siberia" film will be performed by symphony orchestra in Ufa

On September 1, by popular requests the National Symphony Orchestra of Bashkortostan repeats the program “Soundtrack-Concert”. At the State Concert Hall "Bashkortostan" a collection of the best soundtracks for foreign films will be performed. The famous hits from the movies "Titanic", "Star Wars", "Pirates of the Caribbean", "Godfather", "Sherlock Holmes", "Breakfast at Tiffany's," "Gladiator" and others will be accompanied by videos on the LED screen.
At this time the orchestra’s repertoire will be replenished with a new soundtrack by the Russian composer Eduard Artemyev — from the film "The Barber of Siberia". For the Russian cinema music lovers a favourite fragment "Three Comrades" from "At Home Among Strangers" film will be performed by the soloist, diploma holder of the 12th World Festival of Youth and Students in Moscow, trumpet player Marat Muratov and the orchestra.
The conductor will be Kamil Abdullin. Beginning is at 19.00.
The official opening of the National Symphony Orchestra season will take place in Sterlitamak on September 8 and in Ufa on September 9. The specially invited guest is the winner of the 2nd prize and silver medal of the 15th International Tchaikovsky Competition Lucas Geniušas (Russia-Lithuania).
