PCA Rector "Ufa Summit showed that interest in SCO is growing globally"

"Ufa Summit showed that the interest in SCO is growing globally, and to a greater extent among our regional partners. They see their foreign economic and policy interests in such cooperation. Cooperation in these areas can have great prospects", said in an interview to "Customs-TV" the Rector of the Russian Customs Academy (RCA) Vladimir Mantusov.
"In June of this year at the SCO and BRICS Summits one of the most important events of our foreign policy occurred. For the first time financial institutions have been established within the framework of these associations for a total of $ 200 billion, which opened a huge scope for mutual cooperation and development", said the head of the PTA.
In Ufa, the leaders of the SCO member states met on July 10. The Summit participants summed up the work of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in 2014-2015, considered the most important issues of the current activities of the organization, defined the main guidelines for further cooperation, and exchanged views on topical international and regional issues. In Ufa the heads of states also adopted the program of cooperation in fight against terrorism and separatism in the period until 2018.
