UFA, 4 August 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/.
From the beginning of the year, Bashkortostan Rescue Service responded to rescue and search of travelers 49 times against 11 cases last year. In 2013, there were seven such operations, in 2012 — four. As the press-service of the agency informs, the majority of accidents occur with amateur tourists in Beloretsk region.
In the first half of the year the service formed 11 search-and-rescue operations. Of the 15 lost people 12 were found by rescuers or independently. Two were killed — 14-year-old resident of Kazan and athlete-rafter Andrey Litinsky.
The 28-year-old Vadim Klassen has gone missing. After three weeks of fruitless searching the operation is suspended until the new circumstances are clarified, Bashkortostan Rescue Service reports.
