Representative of Bashkortostan has won an international design competition

A graduate of the secondary school No.1 of Kandry village Tuimazy region of Bashkortostan Svetlana Imamutdinova has become one of the winners of the Festival of Contemporary Street Art as part of the national team, which was held in St. Petersburg in the framework of the Congress of the International Federation of Landscape Architects IFLA.
1260 experts from 74 countries attended the Congress. Participants of the festival, representatives of 14 countries, teaming up with the St. Petersburg graffiti artists, made a wall with length of about one hundred metres their art work. The main event of the Congress was the ceremonial laying out of the "Gardens Parade" park, which located in the area of 12 hectares in the Pushkin district of St. Petersburg.
The representative of Bashkortostan Svetlana Imamutdinova, the student of St. Petersburg State Forestry University, participated in Charrette as part of the national team, where the project of young designers was recognized the best. Members of the jury liked a simple and at the same time, modern idea of comfortable urban space creation. Students designed the park as multifunctional, spacious place for recreation, with quiet nature trails, sports and playgrounds, environmental and rain gardens, Tuimazy area administration reports.
