1700 journalists have been accredited for SCO and BRICS Summits in Ufa - Dmitry Peskov


UFA, 9 July 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. 1700 journalists from around the world cover the SCO and BRICS Summits opened yesterday in Ufa, the capital of Bashkortostan. That's the number of media representatives accredited for the international forums, the press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov said at a briefing in Ufa.

The International Press Centre (IPC) of Summits in Ufa is in close proximity to the Congress Hall – a venue of the main events. The total area of the International Press Centre is 19 thousand sq m.

The Press Centre accommodates broadcasters’ pavilion, writing media pavilion, three briefing rooms, medical centre, and other facilities.

The pavilion for writing media is equipped with computers, long distance and international telephone services equipment, photocopying equipment.
