UFA, 1 July 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. In Bashkortostan a charity campaign "Help to Get Ready for School" is launched. It will be running from July 1 to August 31. The purpose of the fifth campaign is to collect school supplies for children from a deprived background.
"School supplies from the public, businesses and organizations will be taken at the inter-regional centres of social support for families and children, which carry out their activities at integrated social service centres of cities and regions of the republic", the spokesperson of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection RB Roza Kuzmenko explained. All contact details of centres are published on the website of the Ministry of Labour.
Only new stationery, notebooks, sets for children's creativity and for drawing lessons are accepted. Briefcases, school uniforms, textbooks, fiction can be in good condition or new.
Last year, by joint efforts it was managed to collect school supplies worth over six million rubles. Then assistance was provided not only to the children of Bashkortostan, but also to pupils from Belogorsk district of Crimea.
Recently the Ministry of Labour RB completed a similar campaign to collect school supplies for children of DPR and LPR. For two weeks residents of the republic transferred about six thousand items of school supplies to integrated social service centres.
