Young athletes from Bashkiria have won 13 medals at the International Children's Games in the Netherlands. Representatives of Ufa gymnastics and Tuimazy swimmers showed good performance at the competitions. Thus eight medals (five gold, one silver and two bronze) are on the count of the capital of the republic and five medals (two gold and silver, one bronze) are on the count of the team from Tuimazy.
Ufa team in gymnastics (one medal in the team all-around), gymnast Svetlana Mazutina (two medals in individual competition) and Kateryna Levchenko (one medal in individual competition), as well as the volleyball team became winners of the highest award. The athlete Aidar Shaikhutdinov won the silver medal. The bronze medals went to judokas Ilya Alonov and Daniel Balandin.
The Tuimazy team has all medals in swimming. Two gold awards were won by Anton Delihov at distances of 50 and 100 m breaststroke. He also was the second in the 200 m breaststroke. Emil Ibatullin won silver medal at 100-m freestyle and bronze at 50 m butterfly stroke¸ the press service of the Ministry of Youth and Sports RB reports.
