Ethnopark will be open near Ufa Congress Hall

In Ufa, near the Congress Hall an ethnopark will be open. Seven yurts will be installed in the Vatan ethnic park or ethno-village. As planned by the organizers, they will show the cultural identity of the region during major events of the SCO and the BRICS Summits.
The way of life of Bashkirs will be displayed in the first yurt: chests, rugs, household items used in everyday use by indigenous inhabitants of the republic. The exhibits are obtained from the National Museum RB. The second yurt is dedicated to traditional crafts: felting, woodcarving, kumis (mare's milk) making. In the third, visitors can learn about the richness of our subsoil. In the fourth yurt the nature of the region will be presented, its riches, honey, kumis. The fifth yurt is an area of tolerance: the region is known for a long tradition of friendship between the peoples uniting of more than 100 of them. In the following yurt the guests of the Summit will be able to try on the national costume, take pictures in it, to participate in the ceremonies. The last yurt will feature the Ufa of future — architectural project, bridges, roads, interchanges.
Guests will be welcomed by volunteers. Acting as guides, they will explain everything that will be on display, hand out leaflets, will show videos. As the organizers of the Vatan Park mark, today "ethnics", national and other local peculiarities is a global trend.
