Bell truck production project is launched in Bashkortostan

In Bashkortostan a joint project with South Africa on production of Bell heavy trucks is launched. It is reported by the press service of the Government of the Republic.
Assembly, welding and mounting of the first engineering sample of a dump truck was organized at production facilities of "NEFAZ" company in the first phase of the project under the supervision of welding engineers from Bell factory. Earlier in the spring of 2015 the engineering staff of the Neftekamsk company visited the Bell Equipment head office in South Africa, where they underwent training in mining equipment production.
Presentation of the final product is dedicated to the upcoming Summit of BRICS-2015. The first "Made in Russia" Bell dump truck in the near future will be tested at one of the objects of "Uchalinsky Mining Complex", as a result of which it will be decided to launch a small-scale production in Neftekamsk.
The Bell Equipment company was founded in South Africa in 1954, the core product of which is articulated dump trucks. At present the production capacity is 2000 vehicles per year, including unique high capacity models B50D and B60. Bell delivers dumps to Russia since 2003 and surely is one of the three market leaders in Russia and the CIS.
