Bashkiria athletes became champions of Europe

Athletes from Bashkiria became champions of Europe. Sportsmen of Beloretsk school Egor Nikolaev and Gulshat Fazlitdinova (coach Tatyana Senchenko) as part of the Russian team were the winners of the sixth European Championship, which was held in Cheboksary.
In the individual competition the Bashkir athletes took the fourth place at 3,000 and 5,000 m races, respectively, the press service of the Ministry of Youth and Sports RB reports.
The competition was attended by 12 strongest national sports teams from Belarus, Germany, Great Britain, Spain, Italy, Norway, Poland, Ukraine, France, Finland, Sweden and Russia.
The Russian national team for the fourth time in history became the winner of the competition, gaining 368.5 points. The second place was taken by German athletes (346.5). The third place went to France (319.5). For two days, Russian athletes won 10 gold, seven silver and three bronze awards.
