Details of Bashkortostan delegation visit to the St. Petersburg Economic Forum are disclosed

The details of Bashkortostan delegation visit to the International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg are announced. According to the regional Ministry of Economic Development, the delegation will be headed by Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov and would include heads of ministries and departments, representatives of business circles of the republic.
An exposition of the republic will be displayed at the Forum. It will be prepared by the Agency for Investments RB. The exposition will provide information about the investment potential of Bashkortostan, the major investment projects. Meetings and negotiations with representatives of the largest companies in Russia and abroad are planned with signing a number of cooperation agreements.
In addition, according to the website "Komsomolskaya Pravda — Ufa" authorities will try to find a partner to complete the unfinished tunnel in Ufa, which should in the future be connected to the M5 highway. It’s costs amount to 24 billion rubles. Also it is planned to negotiate on investment for Magnitogorsk and Sterlitamak road construction and a new rolling mill construction.
St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) will run from June 18 to 20. It is held under the patronage of the President of the Russian Federation. The Forum also ranks among the world's leading venues for communication between representatives of the business community. In 2014 SPIEF was visited by more than 7500 participants from Russia and abroad, including heads of states and governments of developing countries, the heads of major companies and leading international experts from among the representatives of science, the media and civil society.
