New art object "Terraformation" will walk visitors through the history of mankind in 15 minutes

UFA, 11 June 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/.

On June 12, the Day of Russia and the City Day, Ufa will host a new interactive platform — "Terraformation" installation for the three summer months. It will run as part of the unusual art project "Inside and Outside".

Now in front of "VDNKh-Expo" seven structures of geo-domes have been already established. The geo-domes are connected into one another using the corridors. Through the main entrance the visitor first enters the biggest geo-dome – a welcome zone. It has a height of four metres and eight metres in diameter. There will be located a bar with soft drinks and a reception desk, where you can get a guide and other information.

Going through further six domes will be a time travel. The first zone is an ancient theatre symbolizing a way of several centuries from Plato to Aristotle, from the role of a viewer to the role of an actor. The second area will bring you in the era of Copernicus. In the third "era of Kant", guests will get inside a six-foot balloon, which was invented in this period, and will collect a puzzle with quotes. The fourth geo-dome will transfer you in the era of positivism, where anyone can make a mini-nuclear explosion and see 12 paintings. In the fifth era — synergetics – one-metre DNA will be demonstrated and screens with dialogs. And the last sixth area will show people how subjectively and non-linearly time is moving.

All comers at the exhibition will be able to go through two thousand years of human history for fifteen minutes.

The art project "Inside and Outside" is represented by the Centre for Contemporary Art "Oblaka" and "VDNKh-Expo". The exhibition project will last until August 31. Opening hours of both venues are from 10.00 to 22.00.
