Bashkortostan Summer Festival of Journalists "Jourfest-2015" will be devoted to the BRICS and SCO Summits


UFA, 10 June 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. On June 19, a Summer Festival of Journalists "Jourfest-2015" is held in Muradymov Gorge of Kugarchi region of Bashkortostan. It is held annually in different regions of the republic and this year will be the fifth in a row. The "Jourfest-2015" is timed to the professional holiday — the Day of the Press and Information of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Chief editors, journalists, members of republican, regional newspapers and magazines, radio and television, Internet publications will gather at "Jourfest".

According to the Agency for Press and Mass Media RB, this year's holiday program on the eve of the SCO and BRICS Summits will be devoted to the cultures of these countries. Journalistic teams will participate in competitions of national costumes in the form of carnival, in cooking national dishes and dancing.

The opening ceremony of the festival will be held at the central venue at 11.00. During the event, the best industry professionals will be awarded with diplomas and titles of the Agency for Press and Mass Media and the Journalists' Union. In the afternoon, a Press Club and platforms of the partners of the festival will begin their work.

It is expected arrival of Vladimir Skorobogatko, the well-known newspaper designer, the author of popular books on graphic design of newspapers, Associate Professor of Social Communication and Technology Chair, Department of History, Political Science and Law Institute of History and Archives (Russian State University for the Humanities, Moscow), the expert observer of the magazine "Journalism and Media Market" at the "Jourfest-2015". He will hold a master class for Bashkiria journalists.

Members of the media of the republic will be able to participate in fun contests and competitions, as well as in national games of the SCO and BRICS countries, listen to a concert of "EuroAsia" group and artists of Kugarchi region.
