UFA, 29 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The 10-year-old ballerina Sofia Valiullina from Ufa took part in the 12th International Festival "Moscow Welcomes Friends". The event took place on the stage of the Svetlanov Hall of the Moscow International House of Music.
Sofia danced the famous "Swan" by Saint-Saens as a trio with harpist Alice Sadikova from St. Petersburg and cellist Maria Slaschova from Perm. The presenter of the concert Vladislav Flyarkovsky announced that the performance was dedicated to the memory of the outstanding ballerina Maya Plisetskaya.
Sophia Valiullina is a scholarship holder of the Vladimir Spivakov Foundation. At this time, the Foundation arranged for her a master class of the legendary ballerina of Bolshoi Theatre Elena Ryabinkina.
The 12th International Festival "Moscow Welcomes Friends" is held from May 27 to June 5. During this time, concerts and other events of the festival will be visited by no less than 20 thousand people. The festival participants are soloists, instrumentalists, singers, dance groups, artists and representatives of circus genres under 18 years. The "Moscow Welcomes Friends" Festival is shot by the "Culture" TV channel and in the near future a performance of Ufa ballerina will be broadcast nationwide.
