Rustem Khamitov met with the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea Nikolay Janaki

On May 27, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with the Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea Nikolay Janaki at the House of the Republic. The parties discussed the implementation of measures for financial and methodological support of Belogorsk region of Crimea and plans for cooperation in 2015.
During the meeting Nikolay Janaki and Rustem Khamitov discussed the development of vegetable growing and horticulture in Belogorsk region of Crimea. So, now contracts are concluded with producers of fruit and vegetables, the supply of which will be organized to Bashkortostan.
Gasification of Belogorsk district became another important topic of discussion. Rustem Khamitov said that several temporary options were being developed, but a complete gasification would require multibillion investments and should be discussed between the Crimea leadership and "Gazprom".
According to Nikolay Janaki Crimea is interested in supplies of polyethylene, wood, metal products and other industrial products of Bashkortostan. The Simferopol Airport today is able to receive planes carrying up to 200 tons. The presence of mutual traffic would reduce the logistics costs.
The parties also discussed the tillers production at Electrical Engineering Plant "Selma Firm" in Simferopol.
Recall that a special account was opened at the Fund for Targeted Social Programs of Bashkortostan in order to finance measures to support the Republic of Crimea. Total funds aimed at assisting Belogorsk region amounted to 238.6 million rubles.
15 combine harvesters «New Holland», two trailers and KamAZ truck were sent to Crimea to form the tractor fleet. In June and July 2014, machine and tractor station of Belogorsk harvested more than 9 thousand hectares of crops and about 21 million tons of grain.
In preparation for the autumn-winter period Bashkortostan funded supply of 2 600 tons of coal products in the amount of 16.5 million rubles. Preliminary preparations for connecting gas supply to the objects of housing and communal services were made, draft designs of low pressure gas pipelines were developed. Repair works of a number of streets and houses of Belogorsk and nearby villages were conducted.
During the preparation of educational institutions for the academic year the repair of kindergartens was organized. Besides, repairs were conducted in nine educational institutions in Belogorsk, villages Krinichnoye, Zemlynichnoye, Chernopolye, Bogatoe, Vasilevka, Kurskoe and Zuya. A school bus was delivered as part of humanitarian aid to ensure the transportation of children. Currently, 15 students from Crimea study at Ufa universities.
An ambulance vehicle, medicines, health products and medical equipment and supplies were sent to Belogorsk region to support proper maintenance of buildings and equipment of health care facilities.
