Bashkortostan will host International Turkic World Research Symposium

Bashkortostan will host an International Turkic World Research Symposium. The third scientific and educational forum will be held at the Bashkir State Pedagogical University named after M.Akmulla in May 2016.
This year the symposium delegates were welcomed by the city of Almaty. More than 500 scientists from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Italy, the USA, China, Korea, the Netherlands, Serbia and other countries gathered in Kazakhstan to participate in it. Bashkortostan was presented by scientists, graduate students, students of the Faculty of Philology of the Bashkir State Pedagogical University, headed by the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work Gulnaz Shafikova.
The main objective of this large-scale scientific meeting is research, development, promotion of cultural and spiritual values of the Turks. The participants discussed the current problems of language and cultural interaction of Turkic peoples around the world, prospects of their development, historical development and current state of the Turkic languages, archaeological sites and new discoveries in this field.
The first International Research Symposium of the Turkic World was held in Niyde in Turkey in the spring of 2014. This project is based on an agreement between the Turkish Niyde University, Kazakh State Women Pedagogical University and Bashkir State Pedagogical University, the press centre of the Bashkir State Pedagogical University informs.
