Bashkir Paralympic athlete Timur Hamatshin - silver medalist of the World Fencing Cup in Canada

Montreal, Canada hosted the World Cup in fencing among athletes with locomotive disability.
The Russian team included three athletes from Bashkortostan — Albina Kuramshina, Timur Hamatshin and Albert Kamalov.
In the individual competition our athletes did not managed to show good results. In the team competition among male fencers the Russian team as part of Roman Fedjaev, Alexander Kuzyukov, Roman Yusupov and Timur Hamatshin (Republic of Bashkortostan, the coach Farit Arslanov) won a silver medal. The gold went to the Chinese team.
The total count of the Russian athletes is 10 medals: one gold, five silver and four bronze awards, the press service of the Ministry of Youth and Sports RB informs.
