Following the results 2014 Bashkiria remained among subjects with the most effective executive power

Bashkortostan entered the top twenty subjects of the Russian Federation leading in effectiveness of the executive power. The evaluation was conducted on the results of 2014, taking into account the trends of the three years. The findings were presented on Thursday at a meeting of the Russian Government.

"I believe that this rating is useful, firstly, to the regions themselves, because it stimulates local authorities to focus on the most pressing problems, and secondly, for the federal government because these figures clearly show who is able to work", the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said at the meeting.

According to the website of the Federal Cabinet, twenty leaders include Tatarstan, Chechnya, Ingushetia Republics, Voronezh Region, Lipetsk Region, St. Petersburg, Tyumen Region, Tambov Region, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, the Nenets Autonomous District, the Republic of Mari El, Republic of Mordovia, Moscow Region, Republic of Bashkortostan, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District — Yugra, Novosibirsk Region, Krasnodar Territory, Astrakhan Region, Magadan Region and the Sakhalin Region.

The evaluation report on the effectiveness of the regional authorities was sent to the President of the Russian Federation. The rating takes into account various aspects of economic development, social services, opinion of local residents.

Recall that in the previous rating, at the end of 2013, Bashkortostan entered the top ten. As an incentive, the republic received a grant in the amount of 165.3 million rubles.
