Funds in bank accounts decreased by 8.4 percent in Bashkortostan for the first quarter

As of April 1, customers — non-credit institutions held 421 billion 192.7 million rubles in bank accounts in Bashkortostan. This is less than earlier in the year by 8.4 percent, follows from the statistical data of the Department — the National Bank of the Republic of Bashkortostan of Ural Main Directorate of the Central Bank RF.
More than half of this amount, approximately 261 billion rubles, is accounted for deposits of the population — balances on deposits of individuals have increased since the beginning of the year by 1.2 percent. The deposits of legal entities decreased by 26.2 percent - to 105.1 billion rubles. The balances of the accounts of non-governmental organizations decreased by 5.6 percent to 41.5 billion rubles, of the accounts of public organizations — by 14.2 percent to 4.7 billion rubles. Funds of individual entrepreneurs in bank accounts decreased by 11.4 percent — to 3 billion rubles.
The weighted average interest rate on ruble deposits of non-financial companies fell from 18.9 percent per annum in December last year to 12.7 percent in March 2015 (in March 2014 it was 7.2 percent). The weighted average interest rate on funds borrowed from individuals did not change so rapidly — 11 percent per annum in December last year to 10.4 percent in March 2015.
