Nine forest fires occurred in Bashkortostan since the beginning of the season

In Bashkortostan nine fires occurred since the beginning of the fire hazardous season. Six of them happened due to the fault of the people. The reason of the other two was a lightning discharge and agriculture burning. The cause of another fire in the forest was not established. The total area of forest damaged by the fire was 50.4 hectares. It is reported by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic.
The first fire occurred in the afternoon of April 30 in the territory of Uchaly region. The fire damaged 9.5 hectares of forest. During the May Day holidays eight forest fires occurred. Thus, from May 1 to 3 reports on fires in the woods were received by the regional dispatching service under the Ministry of Forestry from Uchaly, Beloretsk, Miyaky, Buraevo, Blagoveschensk and Davlekanovo regions. The largest ground fire in the forest occurred on May 2, five kilometers from Novotazlarovo village Buraevo region. The fire caused by the fault of the local residents, was eliminated in the evening of the same day. It damaged 15 hectares of forest.
Since April 20, the fire hazardous season is announced in the republic.
