Russian government issued a commendation to the representatives of Bashkortostan for Crimea support

The Russian government awarded a commendation to those who actively participated in the work on rendering assistance to the subjects of the Russian Federation — Crimea and Sevastopol. The list includes 70 people, with four representatives of Bashkortostan: the Chairman of the State Committee on Public Contracts Sergey Novikov, the head of legal support, judicial and administrative representative office of the State Committee on Public Contracts Tatiana Shtol, Deputy Minister for Housing and Utilities of the Republic Ildus Mamaev and Chief Expert, Department of Housing and Occupational Safety Michael Shinkarev.
Bashkortostan is a supervisor of Belogorsky region of Crimea. In 2014, the republic rendered to Belogorsky region support in the form of equipment, repairs, food for 217 million rubles. Three batches of humanitarian cargo with products for educational institutions, health care, culture and social protection were delivered to Belogorsk. Crimeans were presented a school bus, "Gazelle" mini-van, ambulances, medical computer equipment, medicines and more. Specialists of Bashkortostan participated in the preparation of municipal facilities of Belogorsky region for the heating season. 37 facilities, 15 houses, six schools, three block boilers were repaired. The issue of gasification of Belogorsky region is still being solved — it is the only area of Crimea with no gas supply.
