Rustem Khamitov met with the RTR CEO Oleg Dobrodeev

On April 20, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov held a meeting with the Director General of the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (RTR) Oleg Dobrodeev at the House of the Republic. The parties discussed issues of cooperation in the framework of the upcoming international summits, as well as upgrading of the regional branch of RTR.

The Head of the Republic expressed his hope that the regional branch of the company would continue to cooperate with the Bashkir satellite TV (BST).

In turn, Oleg Dobrodeev noted that the branch carried out technical upgrading, and to date, the channel was ready for the coverage of upcoming summits.

The General Director of RTR also noted the achievements of the republican branch.

“One of our strongest companies in terms of importance, number of employees and information component works here. We are going to develop not only traditional broadcasting. We have already discussed with colleagues that we will add broadcasting in the Bashkir language, which is very important,” Oleg Dobrodeev marked.

Recall that the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company was established on July 14, 1990. A few months later "Radio Russia" started working. On May 13, 1991 broadcasting of television channel RTR began, which in 2001 was named "TV channel "Rossiya". In 1998, by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, all media assets of RTR were merged into a holding company. Today the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company has a leading position in the market of national broadcasting and is one of the leading producers of TV programs.
