UFA, 8 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. A resident of Bashkortostan was among those missed in the Dalniy Vostok trawler, which sank in the Sea of Okhotsk on April 2. Farid Hasanov worked as a master, "AIF — Kamchatka" newspaper informs.
Of the 132 members of the crew 63 people were rescued, 52 bodies were recovered from the water. 13 fishermen are reported missing, among them — a native of Bashkortostan. He has a temporary registration in the Khabarovsk region where his relatives live.
The Russian government announced a payment of compensation to the bereaved families in the sum of one million rubles. The authorities of Primorsky Territory and the Sakhalin Region promise to pay the same sum.
