UFA, 26 March 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. In Ufa, 214 surveillance cameras will be installed to the SCO and BRICS Summits. This issue was discussed at a meeting on the implementation of hardware and software complex "Safe City" chaired by the Chief Federal Inspector for the Republic of Bashkortostan Andrey Chechevatov.
As it was noted during the meeting, by June 1 of the current year all works on acquisition, installation, connecting and testing of 214 CCTV cameras at 137 sites, including on private facilities must be completed. According to the city administration the installation of 118 video cameras was already made, which is 75 percent of the total quantity. Other cameras will be connected as the commissioning of new facilities being built for the SCO and the BRICS Summits.
The participants of the meeting discussed the mechanism of sending the information obtained from cameras to the "Safe City" complex and the integration of this information with the server of the Ministry of the Interior.
It was proposed to create a new document, which will show the movements of delegations, accommodation and location of guests, with responsible persons supervising the work of the centre of information collection.
