Significant part of Ufa budget was spent on education and housing in 2014

Most part of the Ufa budget was directed for education, housing and communal services in 2014. This was announced at a press conference by the head of the financial management of city administration Ilgiz Nasyrtdinov.
“Budget expenditures for the previous year were financed in the amount of 25 billion 605 million rubles, which was 12 percent above the 2013 level. Of this amount nine billion 480 million rubles were directed for education, six billion 752 million rubles for housing and communal services. Revenues of the city budget amounted to 22 billion 524 million rubles in 2014. Thus, the deficit was estimated as three billion rubles”, Ilgiz Nasyrtdinov said.
“For the current year the budget deficit is planned at 800 million rubles,” the speaker underlined. “In subsequent years, it will also decrease. In addition, the administration will take anti-crisis measures. Having considered the current economic situation, it was decided to reduce funding of urban programs by five percent.”
