Geodesic surveys can be monitored through a network of satellites in Bashkortostan


UFA, 10 March 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Sergey Zakharov/. According to the press service of the Directorate of Rosreestr (the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography) in Bashkortostan, the establishment of a network of satellite geodesic observation stations under the name "Republic of Bashkortostan" — "Kuray" is completed in the republic. The network was created at the expense of the federal budget means at request of non-commercial partnership "GLONASS".

The system is currently operating in a test mode and can provide free information on the Internet to all registered users through the service of the provider — SUE "Centre of Information and Communication Technologies of Bashkortostan Republic". According to experts, the use of the network’s data will greatly reduce the time and cost of work, increase accuracy of geodesic measurements.
