The total volume of loans to the economy of Bashkortostan (including legal entities and individuals) amounted to 822.8 billion rubles in 2014, which is by 0.7 percent more than in 2013 year. This was reported in the release issued by the National Bank of the Republic.
The outstanding balance of loans as of January 1, 2015 increased by 28 percent compared with the beginning of 2014, and as of January 1, reached 712 billion rubles (national growth was 21.5 percent). Overdue loans rose from 2.9 percent to 3.7 percent and amounted to 26.2 billion rubles.
The volume of loans granted to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs was 603.8 billion rubles, with an increase of three percentage points compared with 2013 year. Outstanding balance of loans to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs as of January 1, 2015 amounted to 420.2 billion rubles, with an increase of 40 percent compared with the beginning of 2014 (in Russia — of 24.9 percent).
The volume of loans to small and medium-sized businesses increased by 0.7 percent in 2014 (in Russia this figure fell to 5.6 percent), and amounted to 112.7 billion rubles. In 2014, the credit risk remains high — volume of overdue loans increased by 23.9 percent and amounted to 4.9 billion rubles as of January 1, 2015.
Total more than 27,000 mortgage loans were issued for 2014 worth 40.7 billion rubles, which exceeds the figures of 2013 by 4.5 percent. Mortgage debt amounted to 75.5 billion rubles, overdue debts — 507.6 million rubles.
The amount of bank deposits of individuals at the beginning of 2015 amounted to 258 billion rubles, which is by 5.2 percent more than in 2014.
Total for 2014 the number of bank offices in Bashkortostan decreased by 95 units and reached 1470. But the republic is still among the five leading regions in Russia in number of banking service points.
