UFA, 3 March 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Catherine Sokolova/. In 2016 all children aged three to seven years should be provided with places in kindergartens. The deputy head of the Ufa administration Syntimir Bayazitov announced this at a press conference following the results of work of city educational institutions in 2014.
“Now in Ufa there are about five thousand children in need of kindergartens enrollment,” Syntimir Bayazitov said. “In 2015, we will try to provide the pre-school education for all of them.”
Currently 245 preschool institutions operate in the capital, which are visited by 55,891 children. Within the program of regional pre-school education system modernization Ufa received from the federal budget a grant of 100 million rubles in 2014. These funds were used for overhaul of premises, equipment purchasing, and additional enrollment of 1125 children.
Besides, 11 licensed private kindergartens successfully run in Ufa, 95 entrepreneurs provide baby care services at "home" kindergartens and development centres.
Since this year the daily fee paid by parents was increased in Ufa kindergartens. The sum increased from 62 to 106 rubles a day.
