The Bashkir known strongman, winner of the title "The Strongest Man in Russia" Elbrus Nigmatullin is ready to set another record. In honour of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, he intends to lift the camel weighing 700 kg.
A pedestrian street in the city of Chelyabinsk is chosen as a venue to set the record. The athlete will lift the animal near a bronze sculpture "Bashkir Boy and a Camel." Such a choice is not accidental — the symbol of Chelyabinsk is a camel, which is depicted on the emblem of the city. According to historians, the Great Silk Way passed through the South Ural.
The event will take place on March 2, the spokesman for the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Bashkortostan in the Chelyabinsk region, Mikhail Habirov informs.
