UFA, 25 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. In the Eurasian centre "Samrau" a presentation of the "Virtual Eurasia" program took place yesterday. It was attended by representatives of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan, as well as employees of leading universities and research organizations.
The idea of the "Virtual Eurasia" is to promote development of virtual space and testing a wide range of remote interaction options for transition to a new level of international humanitarian dialogue in the framework of the SCO.
One of the main topics of humanitarian cooperation at the upcoming SCO Summit in Ufa will be the 70th anniversary of the Victory in World War II, the memory of which unites the peoples of the SCO countries.
An important task of the "Virtual Eurasia" program is intensification of scientific dialogue for combating falsification of history and formation of a discussion platform allowing to consider issues of economic integration, recall the general history of nations.
In the short term a series of international video conferences on inter-regional cooperation within the SCO with the scientific and educational organizations of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan is scheduled.
